Gilded Signal examines how ornamental form, hierarchy and motion shape attention on screens.
Mission
We publish calm, source-led design criticism about frames, symbols, typography, numbers, light and motion. The journal is educational and noncommercial: no product rankings, performance claims or buying advice.
Our subject is the visual system rather than the promise attached to it. Observation, design principle and current factual guidance are identified separately.
Editorial desk
This prepublication edition uses the collective byline Gilded Signal Editorial Desk. It does not invent staff names, degrees, clients, field visits or outside consultation.
